About Me

Hey Hi Hey!

I’m MeiLi, a Graphic and Interactive Design major with Entrepreneurial Studies from Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University. If you scroll down, I’ll tell you a little bit about the people and places that I call home.

(If you’re confused about my first name that’s okay, its pronounced “May” like the month and then “Li”, well… like lee)

Who I Am

I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania with the strongest of moms and sweetest of baby brothers. Two months out of the year, we would pack the car and head to Springdale Utah, a tiny town nestled in the heart of Zion National Park. There, my mom and her partner own a guiding and outfitting service, and from the moment I can remember I was scrubbing gear and helping customers navigate one of the most magical places on Earth. I have always had a curious mind and being raised in the world of business taught me how to harness my curiosity to think of solutions, not problems - a phrase that was said every other day in my house growing up. My love for Zion has allowed me to interact with people from across the globe, and the importance of listening for listening’s sake as a means to foster human connection has never been lost on me.

In my journey as an aspiring graphic designer and a student at Temple University, I’ve carried with me the adventurous and perceptive mindset fostered by my upbringing. I believe design is an adventure that summits in a personal and immersive experience, inviting others to dive deep beyond the surface and explore dimensions unseen by the naked eye. I thrive in crafting illustrative and sincere brand identities that narrate a compelling story.

P.S. If you ever find yourself in Zion, I’ve got a variety of fun adventures for explorers of all kinds that I’d love to share with you!
